Recipient of the Urban Super Hero Award of 2018 was awarded to Jimmy Neal along with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Barbara Lee. Oakland Tribune Article recognizing Jimmy Neal for his bravery. He rescued senior citizen, Lena Malone, from her burning apartment. His courageous act was documented in the Oakland Tribune newspaper by the late journalist Dave Newhouse.

Sojourner Truth Manor Honors Jimmy Neal

After rescuing senior citizen, Lena Malone, from her smoke-filled apartment, the staff at Sojourner Truth Manor in Oakland, CA, recognized him with a plaque honoring his unselfish act of putting another’s life before his own. Miss Malone’s apartment had caught on fire and Jimmy Neal did not hesitate to enter her burning apartment, and carried her to safety.

On October 5th , the Wesley Manor Community Center in Campbell, CA, joined with Jimmy Neal, the CEO and creator of Godfather Motorbike Extraordinaire in honoring pillars of the community in Santa Clara County: the City of Campbell Mayor, Campbell Police Department and the Santa Clara County Fire Department. Mr. Neal is seen here with the Firefighters who he personally recognized.
